All Abilities Beachside Run
In support of Community Living Kincardine & District
Participants of all abilities are invited to join us for a beautiful run, walk or wheel along Kincardine’s shoreline in support of Community Living Kincardine & District.
The All Abilities Beachside Run welcomes experienced and beginner runners to our scenic course along the shores of Lake Huron. Distances include 5km and 10km runs, a Kids & Family Fun Run and a 2km walk.
The All Abilities Beachside Run is a Class A race, accredited by Athletics Ontario.
The course hugs the shore of Lake Huron and has very little elevation change, making it perfect for beginner and seasoned runners alike.
All distances are organized as ‘out and back’ with a well marked turn around point manned by volunteers. Water and hydration stations will be strategically placed along the route and volunteers will be on hand to assist any runners who may experience medical distress.
The entire route is closed to traffic for the duration of the race, with volunteers manning barricades at each intersection. The 5km and 10km run course is a combination of pavement and packed gravel. Those participating in the 2km walk can enjoy a stroll along the wooden boardwalk beside the sandy beach.Download Route Map

The Rotary Club of Kincardine first introduced the Beachside Run to Kincardine in 2013. The Rotary Beachside Runs, held in 2013, 2014 and 2015 raised more than $15,000 in support of Community Living Kincardine & District. We look forward to building on this legacy and continuing to welcome runners and walkers of all abilities to the Kincardine shoreline.
